What's the difference between Magic and Science? Well, I guess that depends on who you ask. My schooling says one thing, yet my sight and I still have issues, I'll live. As for my daughter, I'm not so sure she'll recover anytime soon. I've been doing parlor tricks for a while and, like a good trickster, kept my secrets when she expressed her 'need' for a magic kit. When it arrived, like a lawyer to an accident, she clutched the magic wand and gleamed. Before the plastic wrap hit the ground, "Abracadabra! Make me disappear!", with a frustration I've never seen she smacked and shook that wand. "Abracadabra, make me fly!" she demanded. Nothing. zip, nada. Then, with all the sincerity a kid can muster said to me, "Dad, I think it's broken."No comments:
