Can Your Day Get Any Better?

On any given day, life can feel like "It can't get any better than this." What a mistake that can be. It can always get better, if not just a little. I mean think about it, you can leave the house on time, catch every green light and find the perfect parking spot. Pretty good so far. Then you forgot about daylight savings so your 45 min. early and there are donuts and coffee left. In the meantime, your boss called in sick and you get an extra day to finish the report your late on and you get to leave early. No traffic, a cop has someone already pulled over at the speed trap as you pull up to the 7-11. Buy a lottery ticket and win $20 bucks and buy a burrito, as you leave your cell rings and your date has dinner waiting for you so you have a burrito left for breakfast. Get to your date on time, don't say anything stupid and the night goes off without a hitch. Pull up to your pad, get your mail and there are no bills or junk mail. Walking up to your door thinking, "life is good", when suddenly you drop your keys and . . .wait for it . . .you find a penny.No comments:
